Open Wheel Modifieds
Eleven cars took to the track for the Open Wheeled Modified Feature race. Danny Bohn started outside row one, but slid in front of Ryan Ayers by a bumper on the first lap. By turn two, Ayers returned the favor and retook the lead. In doing so, he brought Taylor Cook and Kyle Strickler with him. The field quickly separated into two four-car groups, each locked in a tight battle. John Doe and Tom Kinney brought out the caution with a big hit on the front stretch. On the ensuing restart, Tim Sigmon and Manuel Johnson got together, while Ayers and Cook ran nose to tail up front. On the next restart, it was Bohn taking a hit as he tangled with Cook. The No. 659 car of Bohn had to go to the pits with a flat tire. Ayers and Strickler led the field down to the next restart and Matt Emmerling got by Derrick Ramey. Josh Wright joined the fray as four cars fought hard to the end. At the checkered flag, it was Ayers, Strickler, Johnson, Cook and Sigmon. It was Ayers first win of the year at East Lincoln and one day after his high school graduation.
Super Stock Fours
Eight cars started the feature with David Lucas and Arnold Propst pacing the field for the start. Propst got into turn one way too hot, giving Lucas a shot in the process. Jennings Herman slipped by and took the point for the next restart with Lucas on his tail. Two laps later Darryl Roark and Josh Cook got together, bringing out the caution. On the ensuing restart, Propst got by Roark for fifth. Herman was still in the lead with Lucas stalking his every move. Randy Powell moved up to third and joined in the action. All three cars were glued together for the next few laps until a debris caution came out. On the restart, it was Lucas retaking the point and he led the field to the checkered flag, followed by Herman, Powell, Cook and Kenny Willett rounding out the top five finishers on the night.
Stock Fours
Eleven cars took the green flag to start the feature with Dylan O’Daniel on the pole. On the first few laps, Jeff Crump and Lee Oiler fell in line behind him. On the third lap, Hank Kiefer passed Oiler after giving him a shot—A.J. Paladino got into Oiler and spun him around. With no damage, Oiler restarted shotgun on the field. O’Daniel and Crump pulled away from the field with two separate battles for third through fifth place behind them. Crump then dropped out after running second. Kiefer and Paladino really got going, swapping the position of second back and forth over the next two laps. With two to go, Oiler got into Barney Fuller going into turn one. At the finish line, it was O’Daniel collecting the win from the pole, followed by Paladino, Jordan Sparks, Oiler and Kiefer rounding out the top five.
Micro-Sprints
The fastest division at East Lincoln Speedway lived up to its name on Saturday night as the Mini-Sprints took to the track to battle in out in their 15-lap feature. Eight cars took the green, paced by pole-sitter Darren Hasty. Terry Peters jumped the start and the field was reset. On the first lap, Shawn McElroy, Spencer Brown and Kyle Wilson all bumped into one another, but straightened things out and kept going. Peters went around to take the point with Hasty right on his tail. Hasty began reeling in Peters, until the No. 111 car put the hammer down again to pull away. Kyle Wilson dropped off the track on the final lap, leaving the win to Peters, with Hasty, Brian Roseman, Jake Ziegler and McElroy rounding out the top five.
Limited Sportsman
Thirteen cars took the green flag with pole-sitter Brandon White leading the charge. Jeff Graves moved from fourth to second and Ronnie White pulled into fourth. Brandon White opened a big lead on the field until he came up on the lapped car of Bob Delia. At the same time, the caution flag flew for Ken Hodges, who stalled on the track entering the pits. Brandon White ended up with a left front flat tire. He quickly pulled into the pits and made it back out onto the track before the next restart. Graves took the point and looked very strong. Brandon Keller was stalking him, with Ronnie White close behind in third. Tom Salony brought out another caution after stalling his machine in turn one. The race was now halfway over, but the real fireworks began on the next restart. Graves went wide into turn one and Keller took advantage with White and Terry Brooks joining the fight. Over the next three laps, these four cars put on a clinic for the fans, locked in a tight battle for position. After another quick caution, Keller spun in turn four while leading. Graves re-inherited the lead with Ronnie White and Terry Brooks close behind. Brooks banged his way by Ronnie White, who was none too happy about the move. White then intentionally spun Keller. Both were sent to the rear of the field—and all of the sudden, Brandon White was back in the picture! With five laps to go, Brandon White passed Graves for the lead While Keller settled into third place. Keller took over second place while Brandon White built up a huge lead. Brandon White ended up with the win, proving that when it’s your night, it’s your night. He was followed to the line by Keller, Graves, Ronnie White and Scott Freeman rounded out the top five.

Late Models
The Late Models were back at East Lincoln this week for another shootout with a qualifying session as the night began. Anthony Sanders won the pole, but gave it away to Billy Thompson on the first lap, as he squeaked by Sanders by the slimmest of margins. Danny Bohn, driving in his first Late Model event, took a shot from Jordan Anderson, which touched off a two car accident involving John Thornburg and Anderson. Both cars went on the wrecker and the show restarted with Thompson leading the field out of turn four. Five hard laps later, Eddie Massey spun in turn two to bring out the caution. On the ensuing restart, Doug Sanders slid by Anthony Sanders for second place. The top three were Thompson, Doug Sanders and Anthony Sanders in a 1-2-3 deadlock until they came up on the lapped car of Massey. In getting by, Doug Sanders got clipped by Massey and taken out.
